Resolve hidden images due to permissions conflicts.
Issue
- An image shows up as a grey box on a page when not logged in.
- An image shows up as a grey box on a page when logged in as a certain user.
Resolutions
The image is attached to a different page with stricter permissions that prevent the user from seeing it. There are two options to correct this:
- Change the privacy permissions to Public or Semi-private on the page where the image is attached.
- Attach the image to the page where you want the image to appear.
It is best practice to add images to a media repository set to Semi-private.
