Change site admin

Change the email of the Site Admin in the Control Panel.

Please note, the Site Admin is the first user that is created on the site and has no higher privileges than a normal Admin. The only differences are that this user cannot be deactivated and cannot have its role changed


Change the email of the Site Admin user in the Control Panel

  1. Navigate to Control Panel > Users and Groups > Users
  2. Click on the Edit icon (pencil) for the admin user
  3. In the Email field, update the admin email address (and any other relevant field)
  4. Update the Display Name for the user, if needed
  5. Save user
