What Version of CXone Expert Am I Using?

Determine which product version you are using and its support status.

Current Version

The current major release, called CXone Expert (formerly called Expert Responsive), was released in June 2015, and continuously evolves through weekly releases and new feature launches.

SAP Knowledge Central, if sold after 2016, maintains feature parity with the current major release. If you are unsure that your SAP branded products are providing the latest experience, your Customer Success Manager can provide more information.

Supported Legacy Versions

  • Expert 4 (MT4)

Earlier versions are deprecated and no longer supported. Upgrade to the latest experience!

Determine Your Version

Visual Indicators

If you do not have access to the Control Panel, the default user interface for each major release has unique characteristics. 

Customers can implement custom branding that may modify the default characteristics listed.

CXone Expert (formerly Expert Responsive)

  • Has the latest toolbar
  • Related articles are at the bottom of your pages
  • The responsive user interface changes as you change the width of your browser

Expert 4 (MT4)

  • Related articles appear in the right-hand panel
  • Has comments and/or attachments tabs
