Breadcrumb basics

Breadcrumbs fulfill the following functions:

• Provide context for the article visited by displaying Category and Guide parent pages and allowing users to verify the information they are viewing pertains to their product, task, etc. 
• With hyperlinked breadcrumbs, users users can quickly navigate to any higher level sections to look for further information by clicking on any breadcrumb icon and title.
• Users can find their way back to previously viewed sections if they navigated through the site.
• Using the breadcrumbs allows for a convenient way for a user to locate and drill down to where they need to be in the hierarchy.
