Add a Learning Path to a Guide

Display a Path on a Guide tab, or add multiple Paths to guide users through more complex processes or learning objectives.
  1. If needed, create a Path.
  2. Navigate to your Guide.
  3. Click the plus (+) button on the left side of the tab container.
  4. In the Add new tab dialog, select Path > Add new tab.
  5. In the empty Path tab, click Add a Path.
  6. In the Add a Path window, select your desired Path from the list.
    • If needed, filter the list by keyword or label, or sort by title, name, or label.
  7. Select the row of the Path you want to embed.
  8. Click Insert.

Click the plus (+) sign next to the Path title to see all the pages of the Path.

Path tab options

  • Add multiple Paths to a tab: When you have multiple Paths that advance a specific topic, workflow, or outcome.
    For example, add a Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Paths so users can complete a curriculum in sequence.
  • Add multiple Path tabs to a Guide: When you have multiple user types, workflows, or tasks.
    For example, add separate Path tabs for Draft Contributors, Authors, and Editors to perform their workflows effectively.
  • Reorder Paths in a tab: Drag and drop to reorder, regardless of what order you added the Paths to the Guide tab.
  • Delete Path in a tab: Hover over a Path in a tab and click the X in the upper left corner.
