Issue

Multiple strong tags are generated and seen in the HTML of a page

Cause

The cause or of multiple strong tags being generated and seen in the HTML of a page is from copying and pasting content from another NiCE KM page and pasting it into the editor of a NiCE KM page.

1. Visit a page in NiCE KM and find bold/strong text
2. Copy the text
3. Edit another page
4. Paste the copied content
5. Switch to HTML view to see multiple strong tags around bolded words

Resolution

To avoid this, copy HTML code and paste it into HTML view instead.
