June 2017 Releases

In July, all Expert sites will receive our latest editor. The new editor features a streamlined interface for an optimized use of screen space with no loss of functionality. This allows broad support for varied screen sizes, and gives editors and authors the ability to see even more content. Soon we will allow early access—for any questions or comments, contact your Expert Customer Success Manager. Here's a sneak peak:

Editor: unexpected re-encoding of page attributes
Fixed an issue that caused certain attributes to be re-encoded each time a page was saved, eventually resulting in pages that could be too large to load
Category Thumbnail images: unexpected behavior of thumbnail images dialog
Fixed an issue that allowed the drag and drop uploading of multiple thumbnail images on a Category page, while only one image can be displayed
Touchpoints: differentiation between viewed and searched results in customer insights Touchpoint
Fixed an issue that prevented differentiation between viewed and searched articles returned by the customer insights Touchpoint
Control Panel: improved error messaging
Updated error messaging to reflect searches for nonexistent users in the Control Panel
Link Manager: contextual help link
Added a missing contextual help link to Link Manager UI
Conditional Content: unexpected removal of title attribute
Fixed an issue that resulted in the unexpected removal of the title attribute in custom Conditional Content

Featured Article Tab: Order of listed articles
Fixed an issue that prevented articles listed under the Featured Article tab from displaying in the expected order

Page Classifications: Classification listing UI
Fixed an issue that caused classifications to display improperly in the Draft Manager and Classification Manager
Site Translation: 404 error page
Fixed an issue that presented untranslated text in our 404 error page for languages other than English
Find on Page: Highlighted results
Fixed an issue that prevented highlights from aligning with the intended results of the Find command in source view
Page Import: MTARC importing
Fixed an issue that prevented images from being displayed in imported MTARC pages with URLs containing symbols
Touchpoints: Contextual Help Touchpoint UI in iOS
Fixed an issue that prevented the proper display of Contextual Help Touchpoint windows in iOS

Guide Tabs: Article Directory tab sorting
Fixed an issue which prevented Article Directory guide tabs from sorting articles alphabetically by page title
Editor: Comment style application
Fixed an issue which prevented the application of comment styling to more than one line of text
Search Touchpoint: Search performance
Fixed an issue which prevented the Search Touchpoint from performing searches when clicking on the search icon (magnifying glass)
Content ID: Content ID management page URL format
Updated the format of Content ID management page paths (e.g., /Special:ContentID?tab=associations is now located at /Special:ContentID/Associations)
