Expert Site Export Details

The unzipped file includes some files that are only relevant for use within MindTouch sites and some files that may be usable by other systems.

When you export a MindTouch site, the exported site contents download as a .zip file with the site ID and export timestamp in the file name.

_assets (folder)
- contains content.css file
absolute (folder)
- contains group settings, Paths, search query recomendations, and template files
hierarchy.dat (file)
- only relevant within MindTouch sites
package.xml (file)
- contains XML file of site hierarchy
relative (folder)
- contains HTML for each page (page.html) in folders based on hierarchy structure
- contains file attachments within each folder if applicable
- contains Guide tabs as a JSON file if applicable (most likely only relevant within MindTouch sites)
- contains homepage HTML
