Heading 1 (H1) disabled
In order to adhere to best practices for SEO and GenAI retrieval optimization, every page will have one H1 heading, which is the page title. This ensures the most relevant content is returned quickly and easily across all user experiences and channels.
For Editor v2, the H1 heading option has been removed from the Formats toolbar drop-down. H2 through H6 headings are available instead of the previous H1 through H5 options.
You do not need to update existing heading levels in content that was authored in the original Editor. Simply increase the heading number you previously used by 1 when beginning to use the new Editor.
For example: Headings that were H1 should be formatted as H2 now. Headings that would have been H5 should be H6 instead.
