Capture Manager and Drafts
Capture Manager and Drafts both provide content publishing workflows, however they cannot be used in parallel on the same page.
This solution is custom-configured for each client by MindTouch Professional Services. Elements and labels may differ from what is documented.
Changes in Authoring Experience
When Drafts are enabled on a site, but Capture Manager is disabled on a page, Draft authoring is enabled and a banner will be displayed on the page.
When Capture Manager is enabled on a page, Draft authoring is automatically disabled on the page.
Content Moderation in Capture Manager
Similar to Drafts, Capture Manager provides content moderation, in the context of KCS Methodology:
- The Work In Progress option within the Confidence Capture Manager Classification identifies content as not ready for publication
- The Internal option within the Visibility Capture Manager Classification will hide content from public view
