GenSearch settings
GenSearch settings can be found in Site Tools > Dashboard > Site Administration > Generative Search.
Settings
Control the name of your ExpertAI instance, whether it is toggled on or off by default, and whether the response is streamed or appears immediately after it is generated.
For authenticated users, the AI toggle will persist between logins.
Stream response
Decide whether or not you want generative responses to "stream," so that your users know an answer is being generated. This is especially useful for large sites with lots of content, and to conform to the way many public LLMs provide answers, which ensures consistent expectations from your audience and a comfortable UX.
Disclaimer
Add a disclaimer so users are aware responses are generated by AI. Hide or show the disclaimer.
Persona
Control GenSearch to fit with your brand identity, and stop it from answering queries that are outside its intended scope. Detailed documentation on persona settings is on a separate page.
