Global Redirector for NiCE CXone IdP
Prerequisites
- An existing NiCE KM site
- An existing IdP
A NiCE CXone tenant ID is optional. It is only needed to restrict access to users under a specific CXone tenant. The Global Redirector works without a tenant ID.
Support setup process
Step 1: Configure the CXone IdP
- Access Portal 2.
- Navigate to a site configuration.
- Click the Create or update CXone IdP button.
- Optionally enter the NiCE tenant ID in the modal dialog to restrict access to users under that tenant.
- Click OK.

If a tenant ID is provided, it is stored in the service provider configuration under claims-authorization-allowed-pattern. The service-name is set to CXone. You can add multiple tenant IDs to an existing site for testing.
Step 2: Automatic provisioning
The configuration for the service provider is automatically generated within your site. Verify this in the site services API endpoint.
The Client ID and client secret are concealed by default, because they are used globally.
Step 3: Immediate activation
- NiCE KM sites are instantly ready for NiCE CXone authentication.
- No additional configuration or support intervention is required.
- Multiple sites under the same tenant ID work seamlessly.
